Bishop Paul Williams

Paul Williams has been Bishop of Southwell & Nottingham since 2015, leading a diocese with 320 churches serving 1.2m people across the city and county of Nottingham, as well as some parishes in South Yorkshire. Prior to moving to the diocese he was Bishop of Kensington, in the Diocese of London, with responsibility for overseeing the Church's mission across a diverse and dynamic area of west London, covering six boroughs

During this time, he was particularly involved in planting new churches and pioneering new forms of leadership training, notably with younger lay and ordained leaders. These remain distinctive features of his work in Nottingham. For the national Church of England he is the Lead Bishop for Youth Evangelism and Discipleship and also serves on the Archbishop’s Development Advisory Group that oversees the nurture and development of future senior leader


Rachel Hughes

Rachel is the co-lead Pastor of Gas Street in Birmingham; and has led the team alongside her husband Tim since 2015.  Rachel has a background in Television & Media and also served on the staff team at HTB for several years. She is passionate about seeing God’s Kingdom come in Birmingham, and communicating the freedom and transformation that comes through a relationship with Jesus. Rachel & Tim have 4 young children


Bishop David

Bishop David is the ninth Bishop of Birmingham and has been in position since November 2006

From 1992-2000, David was Vicar of Holy Trinity Church Coventry. Here he was also Chaplain to the Freemens Guild, a founder Director of Coventry City Centre Company and a Board Member of Whitefriars Housing. He moved from Coventry to be Bishop of Birkenhead where he chaired the Diocesan Board of Education and Wirral Local Strategic Partnership

In addition to his duties as Bishop of Birmingham, he is the Archbishop of Canterbury's Link with China, Prelate of the Order of St Michael and St George and President of the Friends of IPASC (community health training) in DR Congo. David received an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Birmingham University in July 2009, is a Board member of Birmingham Hippodrome Theatre, a Council member of Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and is currently chairing the Be Birmingham Summit of the Local Strategic Partnership


Steve Uppal

Alongside his wife, Esther, Steve has been the senior leader of the multi-cultural and multi-campus All Nations Church since 2001. Steve is also recognised as the Apostolic leader of the growing All Nations Movement which gathers churches and leaders together with the vision of turning nations back to God through prayer, church planting, repurposing existing churches and equipping leaders

As an anointed and engaging speaker, Steve’s passion is for the church to fulfil her glorious destiny and for every believer to become strong in their inner being, engage with God’s purpose and find their place in His plans


Amy HugheS

Amy helps lead Trinity Church Nottingham, planted in 2016, alongside her husband Jonny. They have four children, Grace, Joseph, Eden, Anna and a very excitable Labrador called Willow


Dr Rachel Atkinson

Rachel is the co-lead Pastor of St Marks Church Coventry, which was planted in 2017, and previously served alongside her husband Phil at St. Aldates church in Oxford for 7 years.  Rachel was tutor in Mission at St. Mellitus College and, prior to that, at Spurgeon’s Theological College. She has a doctorate in theology and enjoys acting as a ‘knowledge-broker’ – applying theological insights to practical mission, ministry, and work situations

Rachel and Phil have been restoring the physical ruins of St. Marks Coventry and see this as a metaphor for the ministry which they are called to share in, of restoring broken people, churches, and communities. Rachel particularly loves using her teaching gift to see God rebuild broken lives, and is passionate about the restoration of the church in the nation. She and Phil have 2 young daughters


Dr Roger Bretherton

Dr Roger Bretherton is Principal Lecturer for Enterprise in the School of Psychology, at the University of Lincoln. His teaching, research and consultancy centre around Character Strengths and Virtues - the positive qualities of character related to psychological wellbeing. He works extensively in psychological consultancy in the public and private sector


Jonny Lee

Emerging from the North West of England, Jonny, is repositioning as Senior Pastor at Renewal, after many years of ministry in Birmingham where he led the incredible ministry The Main Room and pioneered much young leadership development

Married to Louise, with a daughter Ava, who keeps him on his toes, Jonny is into books, movies, travel, cappuccinos and Everton. Enjoy Jonny’s brand of sharp northern humour, kinaesthetic ideas and life applying messages as he driven on to equip & develop leaders, and maximise people and churches to be all they can be!
