What is involved in being a part of this GS Team?

With such an amazing and versatile building, we host many different organisations and events throughout the year, from conferences, to carol services for schools, to dinners for the homeless. In order to make all of these happen and make people feel at home, we need people to help welcome people on the door, serve drinks, prepare meals or help with the setup - there’s a wide variety of roles to get involved in

How often do I serve as part of this GS Team?

We’d ask for you to be involved in events on an adhoc basis depending on what’s going on. If you have midweek availability then that’s even better!

Do I need to have relevant experience?

No experience is required. You just need to be friendly, up for hosting people and being a dab hand in the kitchen would be an added bonus!

What type of person are you looking for?

Someone who is friendly, keen to host people and make them feel at home, as well as up for getting involved in anything that might come up

Do I need to have been a Christian (or at Gas Street) for a long time to sign-up?

No - we are keen for anyone that is passionate about getting involved to be a part of this GS Team

What will I get out of being part of this GS Team?

Being part of the Events Team we’d hope you’d build new friendships within the team as well as having the privilege of making people feel at home and welcome in our church building and seeing the impact that that has on them and the organisations we host
